Inception: The Reviewer Information Project began in October, 2012 when OpenTravel member Amadeus SAS donated an existing schema upon which would be built a way to incorporate travelers' experience drawn from their reviews of hotels where they have stayed into enhanced hotel descriptive content and other hotel or generic messages. The project schema affects OpenTravel 1.0 Message Suite has a second quarter 2013 target completion timeframe.
Challenge: The project is geared toward guest generated social media hotel ratings and seeks a means to act upon the responses received from review questionnaires that are filled out by travelers in such a way that Amadeus will be able to communicate the reviews through OpenTravel hotel descriptive content messages.
