The work includes: Enhancing OpenTravel schema by reviewing and actioning submitted Air, Car and Rail specification comments Identifying emerging business needs and addressing gaps in current schema functionality by submitting project team proposals Reviewing (and potentially enhancing) project team proposals Participating in new Transport project teams to develop schema, use cases & sample instances and other OpenTravel artifacts as needed Participating in the development of air, car and cruise data dictionaries and other tools for implementers of the OpenTravel Specification Travel Sectors: Rail, Car Rental, Ground Transportation, Air Leadership & ResponsibilitiesLeadership Roles & Responsibilities: Chair: Peeyush Goel, Mindtree Co-Chair: Michelle Daum, Travelport Interoperability Committee Representative: Saundra Ford, Hertz Interoperability Committee Representative: Phil Carey, Super Shuttle Interoperability Committee Representative: Mark Musselwhite, Amtrak OpenTravel Specifications Manager - Sandy Angel The Chair and Co-Chair are required to participate in at least 75% of the meetings of their work group. The Specification Manager and/or Chair or Co-Chair will draft agendas prior to the meeting date and send notification of the meeting at the time the meeting is scheduled and again on the day of the meeting. Members may submit agenda items up to two days prior to the meeting date. Participant Profile: OpenTravel Transport Workgroup members come from companies representing various travel sectors such as airlines, car rental firms, cruise lines, railways, solutions providers, technology companies and distributors.
