workgroup tabsSummary & MeetingsMeetings: Monthly, 3rd Thursday of month as needed, 11am-12pm US/Eastern, Via Webex.Summary: The Travel Integration Workgroup serves companies that provide services to the travel industry and other verticals that don't functionally fit in either the Transport or Hosptality workgroups by identifying and developing the scope of work for common components and services that are used across multiple sectors such as Travel Insurance, Package Tours, Dynamic Packages and Golf. A few examples of common objects are price, itnerary, loyalty, profiles, holiday bookings and destination activities. The efforts of this workgroup are aimed at Enhancing OpenTravel schema by reviewing and actioning comments submitted for common messages; Participating in the development of data dictionaries for common messages and other tools for implementers of the OpenTravel schema products; Identifying emerging business needs and addressing gaps in current schema functionality by submitting project team proposals; Participating in Travel Integration Workgroup's project teams to develop related artifiacts including message schema, use cases, models and sample instances Reviewing, and potentially enhancing, project team proposals. The Specification Manager and/or Chair or Co-Chair will draft agendas prior to the meeting date and send notification of the meeting at the time the meeting is scheduled and again on the day of the meeting. Members may submit agenda items up to two days prior to the meeting date.
